c. 1910’s | Twenty Years After | Alexandre Dumas | Antique Illustrated Hardcover

RM 25.01

Twenty Years After by Alexandre Dumas is the sequel to The Three Musketeers, reuniting d’Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis years later as political upheaval, divided loyalties and old friendships pull them back into adventure. This edition also notes a new translation by Henry L. Williams and includes an illustrated frontispiece.

Published by Fifth Avenue Publishing Company in New York, this undated copy appears to date to the early 20th century and is part of the matching green cloth classics series.

Condition: Fair antique condition with substantial age related wear. Green cloth boards show rubbing, spotting, discoloration and wear along the spine ends, edges and corners. The front interior hinge is significantly cracked and separated, exposing the binding material, though the text block is still present. Pages show age toning, spotting and staining. Illustrated frontispiece is present. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
