Vintage 1980s Nancy Drew Mystery Stories Lot of 5 Wanderer Books Carolyn Keene First Editions
A fun lot of five vintage Nancy Drew Mystery Stories paperbacks from the early 1980s Wanderer Books era.
Included:
• #60 The Greek Symbol Mystery
• #61 The Swami’s Ring
• #64 Captive Witness
• #65 Mystery of the Winged Lion
• #72 The Haunted Carousel
These were published by Wanderer Books, a Simon & Schuster imprint, during the period when the original Nancy Drew series transitioned into paperback editions with colorful illustrated covers. The five books date from 1981 through 1983. The copyright pages shown include full number lines ending in 1, indicating first printings of these particular Wanderer editions.
The stories take Nancy from Greece and Venice to Europe and an eerie amusement park, making this a really fun little group for a Nancy Drew reader or vintage children’s book collector.
Condition is vintage and varies by book. Covers show visible shelf wear, edge wear, creasing and rubbing, and the page edges have age-related toning. Please see photos closely for exact condition. Still a charming, very readable set with fantastic early 1980s cover art.
