1974 Chateau of Flowers | Margaret Rome | Vintage Harlequin Hardcover

€6.34 (plus tax)

A wonderfully retro piece of Harlequin romance history. Chateau of Flowers follows Fleur, who has married Alain for love, while he remains convinced she chose him out of pity or for his wealth. Set against a romantic European backdrop, the story centers on whether Fleur can convince her husband that her feelings are genuine.

This vintage Harlequin hardcover is especially charming as an object, with its dark green boards, gold floral design, gold spine lettering, illustrated title spread, and blank decorative Ex Libris plate. The novel was originally published in the early 1970s; this particular copy is copyright 1974, shown in Roman numerals as MCMLXXIV.
