One full size Prequel Gleanser Non Drying Glycerin Cleanser, 13.5 fl oz / 400 mL. This was received through PR.

Gleanser is Prequel’s dermatologist developed face and body cleanser formulated with 50% glycerin, along with ingredients like inulin, arginine, oat extract and aloe. It is designed to cleanse without stripping the skin and is especially nice for dry, sensitive or easily irritated skin. The formula is fragrance free and pH balanced.

Ingredient note: Ingredient scanning apps may flag ingredients such as cocamidopropyl betaine, phenoxyethanol, polyquaternium 10 and polysorbate 60. I don’t evaluate ingredients based on a scanner alone, because hazard depends on the specific ingredient, concentration, exposure and formulation. Prequel states that its products undergo safety and quality testing, including testing for relevant impurities/contaminants, and the phenoxyethanol in this formula is used at less than 1%, which is within the concentration commonly permitted in cosmetic formulations. So while this may not meet every “clean beauty” app’s standards, I personally look at the full formulation rather than treating a flagged ingredient as automatically unsafe.
