1989 to 1999 | Franklin the Turtle | 10 Book Vintage Scholastic Bundle | Paulette Bourgeois & Brenda Clark
A nostalgic bundle of 10 classic Franklin storybooks by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark, with editions dating from the late 1980's. These are the familiar Scholastic paperbacks many kids grew up with, including several marked “I’m on TV!” from the era of the original Franklin animated series.
This bundle includes:
- Hurry Up, Franklin
- Franklin Rides a Bike
- Franklin’s Secret Club
- Franklin Goes to School
- Franklin Wants a Pet
- Franklin’s Neighborhood
- Finders Keepers for Franklin
- Franklin Plays the Game
- Franklin Fibs
- Franklin’s Christmas Gift
The stories cover friendship, honesty, school, pets, sharing, responsibility and everyday childhood experiences, which makes this a really nice read aloud set or addition to a home library.
Condition
Good used vintage condition overall. Expect light cover rubbing, edge and corner wear, and some age related wear consistent with 1980's-1990's paperbacks. The books are intact and readable.
Age range
Approximately 3 to 8 years. Several Franklin titles sit around guided reading levels J to K, roughly early elementary, although they also work very well as read alouds for younger kids.
