Published by Golden Press in 1968, this oversized hardcover is part of The Golden Treasure Chest series and is especially fun for the artwork. Different stories feature different illustrators, with a mix of full color spreads, mid century artwork, decorative borders, and black and white illustrations throughout its roughly 255 pages.
Condition
Used, Good. Binding intact and pages complete. Illustrated boards show noticeable age related soiling and spotting, light rubbing along the edges and corners, and general shelf wear. Interior pages show light toning and occasional age spotting. A previous owner’s name sticker is present inside the back cover. Illustrations remain bright and colorful throughout. No dust jacket issued. A solid vintage copy with plenty of character.
